Ask AnyFlow

The assistant inside the app knows what your phone can do. Ask why a flow didn't run, or how to build something.

Flows not firing

Almost always this is the phone's battery saver putting AnyFlow to sleep.

  1. Open Home → Needs attention in AnyFlow and tap each fix it shows.
  2. Set AnyFlow's battery usage to Unrestricted: Settings → Apps → AnyFlow → Battery.
  3. Samsung: Settings → Battery → Background usage limits — remove AnyFlow from “Sleeping apps” and “Deep sleeping apps”.
  4. Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO: turn on Autostart for AnyFlow and set its battery saver to No restrictions.
  5. OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Vivo: allow auto-launch and background activity.
  6. Keep the “Automations running” notification — don't block it.

Then open the flow's run history. No run at all means the trigger never arrived; a failed run opens the step that went wrong.

Time triggers run late

Allow Alarms & reminders for AnyFlow (Settings → Apps → Special app access). Without it, Android may delay timed flows by a few minutes.

Message & email triggers

  • Turn on Notification access for AnyFlow. These triggers read notifications, so the messaging app must show them — check the chat isn't muted.
  • Email triggers match the sender's name as shown in the notification, not the email address.
  • Sending WhatsApp messages and emails needs Accessibility, and the phone must be unlocked at that moment.

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth & data toggles

Android doesn't let apps switch these directly, so AnyFlow uses the quick-settings panel through Accessibility. Keep AnyFlow's Accessibility service on, and make sure the phone is unlocked when the flow runs. Some phones turn Accessibility services off after a system update — turn it back on if toggles stop working.

Place triggers

  • Allow location All the time, not only while using the app.
  • Keep Location turned on, and use a radius of at least 100–150 m for dependable results.

Building with AI

First check that your free Groq key is added in Settings → AI. If AnyFlow can't build something yet, it offers the closest flow it can and explains what's missing. The request is sent to us so the feature can be added, and you're notified in the app when it's ready. You can switch this off in Settings → AI.

AnyFlow Desktop & AI apps

  • “That code is wrong or has expired” — codes work once, for 10 minutes. Make a new one in Settings → Connect devices & AI.
  • Computer not responding — open http://127.0.0.1:47615 on that computer to see its status, or link it again.
  • ChatGPT or Claude can't reach your phone — make sure Connect devices & AI is on and AnyFlow's battery usage is Unrestricted.
  • “This link has expired” — one-tap connect links work for 10 minutes. Go back to AnyFlow, tap Connect again, and open the AI app in the same browser.

Frequently asked questions

Is AnyFlow free?

Yes — free to download and use, with no sign-up.

How do I stop everything at once?

Tap Turn all off in AnyFlow's notification. Every flow stops immediately.

A flow turned itself off. Why?

It was triggered too often, so AnyFlow turned it off to protect your phone. Check its trigger, then turn it back on.

Where is my data stored?

On your phone. The AnyFlow cloud only relays messages between your devices and the AI apps you connect. See the privacy policy.

How do I disconnect ChatGPT, Claude or a computer?

Open Settings → Connect devices & AI and remove it. Its records in the cloud are deleted.

How do I update the app?

Download the latest version and install it over the current one. Your flows and settings are kept.
